December 9
We once again showed only our junior gang, this time in the Winner-07 international show in Helsinki. Bichons were under Mr Rainer Vuorinen from Finland, who is a very well-known and respected all-rounder. He gave only four excellents to totally 13 junior males. One of those was our L. Sun Moon Stars, who also got placed 4th in the class. Thank you Ms Satu Eskelinen for handling Elmo so well!
In the poodle ring our Canmoy's Primetime became 2nd in junior bitches under Mr Espen Engh from Norway. That was very well done for our little Irina, who was only 10 months old. In the photo below you can also see why it isn't actually easy for me to run in the rings these days... ;)
November 18
Our bichon specialty was held also in Jyväskylä this year. The judge was Ms Margaret Hoad from UK. We once again showed only our juniors, who both got excellent evaluations. Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars also got placed 2nd in his class out of 15 junior dogs, which is not bad :)
November 17
We showed our juniors in Jyväskylä INT, where bichons were judged by Ms Kathleen Grosso, US. Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars got placed 3rd in his class, L. Contract Kisser didn't get placed this time. Miniature poodles were under Mr Mikael Nilsson from Sweden, who made our Canmoy's Primetime 2nd in her class.
October 27
Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars 1st in junior dogs and 4th Best Male with Res-CC in Lahti INT show under Ms Tuula Plathan from Finland. Leaflet's La-Z-Boy debuted in the same class and became 4th shown by his owner. Not bad, boys :)
Elmo's critic: " Well balanced little male. Correct length of head. Underjaw could be slightly stronger. Beautiful dark eyes. Enough forehead. Good front and shape of body. Good neck. Well angulated rear. Beautiful tail. Excellent colour and good coat. Good side movement."
"Tasapainoinen ja sopusuhtainen pieni uros. Pään pituus oikein. Alaleuka voisi olla hivenen voimakkaampi. Kauniit tummat silmät. Riittävä otsa. Hyvä etuosa ja rungon muoto. Hyvä niskan kaari. Hyvin kulmautuneet takaraajat. Kaunis häntä. Erinomainen väritys ja hyvä turkki. Hyvät sivuliikkeet."
I had also entered miniature poodle Canmoy's Primetime, who debuted in junior bitches at barely 9 mths age. She won her class and gained Res-CC under Ms Marjatta Pylvänäinen-Suorsa from Finland.

My deepest gratitude to Ms Johanna Kuoppala for her fabulous web design that made renewing my whole website a lot easier (actually possible at all...) for me! From now on the contents will be under construction for some time, as that is entirely the responsibility of the site owner...
September 9
Luckily we got to enjoy a dry and warm day in this year's last outdoor show, which took place in Porvoo. Bichons were judged by breed specialist Ms Judith Dawson from UK. She made Leaflet's La-Z-Boy BOB-puppy. Congratulations once again to Milou and his owners, that was a fine ending for puppy classes! Milou's gorgeous critic: "Mature puppy in good coat. Very dark eyes. Nice ratio for nose and eyes. Good neck and head carriage. Dark pigment. Very confident on the move."

Also L. Contract Kisser and L. Sun Moon Stars participated in junior dogs and gained placements 3rd and 4th. That was well done for those still very puppylike boys. Elmo's critic:
"Very pretty head. Short for face. Dark eye and pigment. Very well balanced. Good tail carriage. Nice coat for age. Very happy on the move. Still only a baby, has time."
Miniature poodles were under Ms Lavinia Steer from Romania. Her choice for BOB-puppy was our Canmoy's Primetime. One can say that Irina has indeed started her career in a promising way :)
September 2nd
Once again I showed only my poodle, Canmoy's Primetime BOB-puppy under Ms Gunilla Sandberg in Vantaa all breeds show. Not to forget all about bichons, Leaflet's La-Z-Boy also went BOB-puppy shown by his owners under Ms Martha Heine. Congratulations, Milou, Janne & Johanna!
August 26
We had The Great Big Toydog Specialty, which is arranged by Finnish Toydog Association and annually held in Kaivopuisto, Helsinki. I had entered only our Irina, Canmoy's Primetime (can you imagine, no bichons!!!) The poodles were judged by breed specialist Ms Angela Corrish, who placed Irina BOB-puppy again.
We nearly missed the finals due to bad weather, but luckily not quite... The group judge Mr Robert Lamont made her BEST IN SHOW-PUPPY over great many very promising toydog puppies, who were shown there!!! Thank you!
I also wish to thank some friends by the ring: Ms Sanna Karhu for the gorgeous hairdo she created to Irina (it must have been your rubber bands...) Ms Jaana Kauppinen for the photos and giving us shelter from the rain (not to mention to congratulate you with your Jitterbop bichons' wonderful results), Ms Katja Rahunen and her "slaves" (sisters) for holding the umbrella and Ms Sanna Hyrkäs for sharing the moments in the rain with our puppies (you did very nicely too, congrats).
Last but not least thanks and congrats also to
Irina's breeder Ms Tiina Taulos, who has let me have this little gal, groomed her and patiently tried to teach me all the differences between showing a bichon and a poodle...
August 25
Miniature poodle Canmoy's Primetime debuted in Tervakoski under Ms Karin Kuntner and went BOB-puppy. Bichons were judged by Ms Paula Heikkinen-Lehkonen, Frittmi's Love Potion and Leaflet's Easy Come Easy Go both got placed 3rd in their classes.
August 11
Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars participated Luumäki show with his owner Pirjo, won his class and went 3rd best male under Ms Pirjo Aaltonen.
August 5
We showed in sunny Turku, where bichons were judged by Ms Pirjo Aaltonen. She made Leaflet's Superstar (shown by his young owner Amina) 3rd in his class and Leeward's Ringside Rose 2nd in hers.
July 29
In Vantaa all breeds show Leaflet's La-Z-Boy decided to show nicely and became BOS-puppy. Congratulations Johanna, Janne & Milou! L. Chillin Me Softly and L. Sun Moon Stars gained placements 3rd and 4th in junior dogs. Leeward's Ringside Rose was placed 3rd in her class. Bichons were under Mr Göran Bodegård from Sweden.
July 28
In Pori int show bichons were under Mr Carlos Fernandez-Renau from Spain. Leaflet's La-Z-Boy managed to show in puppy class without trotting in pace for a second... He was 3rd in his class. Leaflet's Chillin Me Softly won junior males and became best male 4th. L. Sun Moon Stars was placed 2nd in the same class. Frittmi's Love Potion was 2nd in intermediate bitches.

July 21
We made a trip to Hankasalmi group show, where Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars, L. Contract Kisser & L. Chillin Me Softly were all showed in junior males and became 2n, 3rd and 4th in the class. Also Leeward's Ringside Rose was placed 2nd in her class. Bichons were judged by Mr Markku Kipinä.
July 1
In Karjaa int show Frittmi's Love Potion won her class and Leaflet's Easy Come Easy Go became 4th in his under Mr Roberto Schill from Romania.
June 16
In Kotka international all breed show bichon puppies were judged by a very well-known Finnish all-rounder Mr Hans Lehtinen. His choice for BOB-puppy was Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars. Congratulations once again, Elmo and Pirjo! The adults were under Mr Göran Bodegård from Sweden. Frittmi's Love Potion (still in junior class) went BOS with her 2nd CC :) Unfortunately we didn't have a camera with us, but I'll add some photos as soon as I get some...

There has been a break in my updatings as we have moved to the wonderful countryside of Southern Finland. We are now located in Kisko, about 100 kms from Helsinki and 70 from Turku, and enjoying every moment! Meanwhile my bichons have been showed with quite nice results and you can imagine all the pain I've been through not being able to share the fun with rest of the world :)
May 26
We had a group show in Parainen, where Leaflet's Contract Kisser went BOB puppy with a fabulous critic from our judge Mrs Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari. Frittmi's Love Potion became 2nd best bitch with RES-CC from junior class.
The weather was not so nice, but we had a great time by the ring with Hanna and Jaana. Showing means competition but the competitors can be the best of friends with each other anyway ;)

Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars BOB puppy under Mr Veli-Pekka Kumpumäki in Ristiina group show. CONGRATULATIONS, ELMO AND PIRJO!
Meanwhile we showed at a puppy show in sunny Tampere under Mr Juha Palosaari. Leaflet's Contract Kisser, L. Superstar and L. La-Z-Boy all gained fine placements with prizes of honour though they all did not behave too well... :)

Mothers' Day group show in Salo, where Frittmi's Love Potion gained her first CC becoming BOS from junior class under Mrs Lilian Hanniste from Estonia.

In Hamina all breed show Leaflet's Sun Moon Stars made his first debute in the showring and become BOB puppy under Mrs Marija Kavcic from Slovenia. Congratulations and way to go, Pirjo and Elmo!

Easter dog show in Lappeenranta. I had entered only Frittmi's Love Potion, who did very nicely becoming 2nd in junior bitches under Mrs Hassi Assenmacher from Germany. Also Leaflet's Enfant Terrible was entered by his owners, but it seems like Eetu has all by himself decided to retire from showing... ;)

Let me introduce our latest member of the team... I guess I'll have to renew my whole website soon to fit this new breed situation better ;) This is our little Irina, who is a very promising miniature poodle baby girl. Thank you Tiina for this little monster :D

Puppy show in Helsinki, entry 8 under Ms Tiina Taulos. Leaflet's Contract Kisser BOB-puppy, L. Superstar 3rd best male puppy handled nearly professionaly by his young owner Amina ;) Also L. Cute'N'Cool (4th in his class) and L. Chillin Me Softly were shown in our breeder's group, which gained HP and became BOB breeder's group. Thank you Kristiina, Elina and Amina for taking such good care for your baby boys!
